Autumn Tulip Bulbs
Tulips were originally native to Asia Minor and Turkey. The first tulips arrived in Europe in the mid-16th century and were introduced to Western Europe by the Dutch botanist Carolus Clusius. The tulip is the national flower of Holland, where it has had a huge influence on culture. It is divided into 15 groups of varieties.
Tulips are often used as cut flowers, as potted plants or for spring gardens outdoors. Tulips need lots of light and well-drained soil.
