Description
The Blumat Classic XL is an easy-to-install watering method for your houseplants. It offers the ideal holiday watering, so your plants won't suffer in your absence. However, Blumat Classic can also be easily used year-round and ensures that your plants are always supplied with sufficient water.

- 100 cm long hose included
Application:
- Pull off the green cap and place the clay cone in a container of water for 15 minutes.
- Fill the cone to the brim with water and press the green cap firmly back on
- Push the clay tip of the Blumat Classic into the soil. (For larger pots, use 2 pieces and for elongated boxes use 1 piece every 15-20 cm).
- Now put the suction hose in a full container of water and make sure that it reaches the bottom of the container.
- For optimum water supply, the water level in the water vessel must be below the green Blumat cap.
- The amount of water can be increased or decreased depending on the height of the water level.

Instructions:
- Pull off the green cap
- Place the ceramic cone in water (15min)
- Fill with water up to the brim
- Place the green cap firmly on again.
- Place the Blumat pointy-tip down into your planter. For larger pots, use two Blumats. Use 1 Blumat every 15-20cm per planter. Make sure that the Blumat has good contact with the soil.
- Immerse the hose in a vessel full of water.
- The hose must reach the bottom of the vessel.
- The green cap has to be higher than the water vessel water level.
- Raising or lowering the height of the planter increases or decrease the amount of water released.

For a 30cm sized pot, two dispensers should normally be sufficient. Possibly even one. Depends on amount of plants and soil density. Would suggest trying it out for (a) few days/week before leaving plants unattended while on holidays etc, so you have time to adjust placement (also plays a role) and number of dispensers.
