Gardena Soil Moisture Sensor

This soil moisture sensor has everything under control, ensuring intelligent water use. It saves water by supplying your plants with exactly the right amount of water for better and healthier growth as the sensor measures the moisture in the soil. If the soil is already sufficiently moist, your sprinkler system will skip watering that cycle.

• Suitable for lawns, flower beds and planters
• Can also be used in combination with lawnmowers and robotic lawnmowers
• Only sticks up 2 cm from the ground; a robotic mower will not damage it
• The switches are on the irrigation control panel as are the measurements of how moist the soil is
• Low battery power is indicated on both the Water Control and the LED in the battery compartment. This allows you to replace the battery in time and ensures continued reliable operation.

• Electrothermal measuring principle
• The soil sensor measures the soil moisture according to a proven electrothermal measuring principle. The metal tip, which is enclosed in felt, heats up and calculates the degree of soil moisture based on the cooling time—reliably and accurately.
• Improved energy consumption

Can be used with:

• Compatible with the GARDENA Flex, Select, Bluetooth, Master Irrigation Controls and the 9V Bluetooth Irrigation Valve. Can also be used with MultiControl duo, the multi-channel controls 4030 and 6030 and older Gardena controls with a sensor connection. The Sensor is compatible with almost all GARDENA Water Controls and Multi-Channel Controls.
