Description
Spring onions taste milder than onions but also have a pleasant flavour. Their stems are long, soft and juicy. Enjoy the stems raw, on a snack tray or for seasoning cream cheese dips, or in soups. They can also be steamed or baked into dishes.
The spring onions are also very popular in Chinese or Japanese cuisine. The "Negaro" variety is one of the top breeds preferred by professional gardeners. The stems have a particularly pleasant taste. They can be grown outdoors from spring to autumn.
