Kiepenkerl Watercress

Watercress has green and fleshy leaves with a subtly pungent, spicy flavour. The leaves and fresh shoot tips are a tasty addition to salads, sauces and vegetables.

Tips:

• Light germinator - do not cover the seeds with soil, just press them down lightly
• Broadcast sowing in flower pots filled with loose soil. Place these in containers filled with water
• Make sure the water is clean
• Keep the soil thoroughly wet until germination, then keep it slightly waterlogged
• Change the water regularly
• Continuous harvest possible until it starts flowering
