Description
This high yielding variety has proven itself reliable and profitable. The long, cylindrical fruit with creamy white or light green streaks appears from July until frost. The young fruit are harvested at 16 - 20 cm long and thus encourage a new set of fruit. The bushy growing plants are robust and resistant to cold and wet weather.
The juicy fruit is tender and has a mild taste. The white-green stripes make raw food or salads appealingly tasty. Cut and steam and use as a side dish for meat, Mediterranean barbecue and seafood dishes.
