Description
Ylang-ylang is one of the most valuable plants in the world, as its jasmine-scented flowers produce essential oil for perfume production. Ylang-ylang can be kept purely as a houseplant, but it can also spend the summer outdoors.
Tips for growing:
- Soak the seeds in water overnight
- Place the seeds approx. 1/2 cm deep in moist soil
- Cover with cling film and punch holes in it
- Remove the film for about 2 hours every two to three days
- The substrate should be kept moist but not wet
