Description
German title: Lampionblume "Mikie's Laterne"
Physalis is a vigorous perennial that likes to grow on the edges of woody areas or under trees. The Physalis plant thrives particularly well on calcareous, nutrient-rich soil. From May, the inconspicuous yellowish-green flowers begin to appear. A lantern-shaped papery covering grows over the small, cherry-sized, orange fruit. These fruits are not edible!
