Wildlife World Iglu Hedgehog House

The Iglu hedgehog house by Wildlife World offers hedgehogs a safe haven in your garden. There is room for both individual hedgehogs and hedgehog mothers with their brood. The small entrance protects sheltering hedgehogs from predators, pets oand garden tools.

This hedgehog house is made of rattan wickerwork. The round steel frame has a waterproof felt roof, which is covered with brushwood interwoven with rattan.

The ideal location:
Ideally, place the hedgehog house in a location that is protected from wind and cover it with leaves and twigs without blocking the entrance. This will camouflage the hedgehog house better and protect the animals.

Please note:

• Hedgehogs are wild animals. Hedgehog houses should therefore be insulated and covered over the winter and checked once a year only - early summer is the best time for this.
• Rattan or wickerwork hedgehog houses with an open floor are not suitable for hedgehog rescue centres. Hedgehog rescue centres should use wooden hedgehog houses with roofs that can be opened or removed to check on recovering rescued hedgehogs.
