Burgon & Ball "BoronGreen" Digging Spade - RHS Endorsed

This ultra strong and robust spade features a boron steel tool head which has a special rust protection coating in a distinctive green colour. It has been load-tested to 100kg, which far exceeds the British Standard (BS3388) of 55kg. Furthermore, the spade has a handle made of thermo-treated white ash with a comfortable Y-grip double-riveted at the base for strength. An extra-long, double riveted, strapped socket provides flex and additional strength at this important joint. These impressive features have gained the BoronGreen series an endorsement by the RHS (the Royal Horticultural Society).
