Description
From despised arable weeds in local cornfields to treasures in cottage gardens and wildflower mixtures - the corn cockle has enjoyed a brilliant career. The fine flowers in elegant pink shades bloom from June until frost. Similar cornflowers and daisies wave along with grasses in the wind, embodying the grandeur of Sommers. Annual summer flowers are particularly undemanding, robust and easy to care for.
The plants thrive soon after planting outdoors and reach a height of about 100 cm. Thanks to their wiry stems they can be used for bouquets, attracting butterflies, for flower meadows, natural gardens, companion flowers or summer flower gardens.
